Trinity Baptist Church is motivated to continue on in learning to do well and seeking out the old paths. We want to re-dig those wells of everlasting water from the reservoir of God’s Word. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again and it may be today. On the other hand, the Saviour may tarry His coming for a number of years, decades or centuries. We see many “churches” changing with the times, trends and traditions of man. We would like to change in the opposite direction. We acknowledge the truth of mankind’s continuing journey away from God. We see this prevalent in the church as well. We will not be satisfied with the “status quo” that indulges most good Baptists. Trinity Baptist Church does not seek the approval of other denominations, fellowships or institutions, nor do we compare ourselves or our following with that of other pastors or churches; (2 Corinthians 10:12) “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”
As a body of saved baptized believers we would like to see all members get the vision that Christ had. This is the vision to see our neighbors, relatives and society as eternal souls living in jeopardy of the wages of sin. There is no greater vision needed on such an urgent scale. We do not seek to convert people into becoming mere church members or moral entities. We teach that when a person truly receives Jesus Christ as their Saviour, they obtain God’s Spirit within themselves. That Spirit of God brings in with Him a vision of concern for the lost and condemned. We teach that God’s Spirit brings with Him power and a burning desire to witness about the saving grace of God. Furthermore, being filled with God’s Spirit brings a holy boldness to witness, not a show or fleshly exhibition of one’s spirituality. There is no greater or more immediate vision for the people of God today.
Jesus is coming again and more news will be coming soon.
